Synthesis

Bam White was an unlikely star in a documentary about the dustbowl. They paid him a months salary for just two hours of work. Lorenzo wanted to make the film and he teamed up with someone named Tugwell who pretty much wanted the same thing. We wouldn’t know much about the dustbowl without them.

Tiauna and Alacia Black Sunday
The black sunday was in April 14,1935. When the sky got dark and cloudy. The sun went down and the temperature dropped. Everyone knew there was going to be a bad storm coming so they went to a nearby huddle. A woman and daughter tried to get home but the dust was so thick they could not see where they were going, until her husband came. everyday was a black day when the storm hit. people finally realized that the dust bowl was real. It was a nightmare for people who lived at that time.

Franklin Delanao Rosovelt

Franklin Delanao Rosovelt was elected in 1932. But what most people didnt know is that he polio has an adult. he was also extremly weathly.
he made it clear that he was a president for the people. this is ho whe began to let the people know.
"So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself -- nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance. . . . "
He helped th edepression with his really good ideas like the New Deal programs. because he was such a good, smart president congress alowed him free reign.
he also made the Social secruty act. but it was a very sad day when he died in 1945.

It was a very sad time for the dustbowl refugees. When the drought started people were forced to move to California. The dustbowl was the largest migration in american history. The L.A.P.D did not want the dustbowl people to come into L.A.

The drought happened first in the eastern part and then moved west. I think the drought is a sad story. The drought got its name after Black Sunday. Robert Geiger came up with the name the dust bowl. Today we still refer to the drought as the dust bowl. The SCS used the term Dust Bowl to label the drought on a map; the drought covered over 100 million acres.
